Rebecca Loos, David Beckham’s former personal assistant, revealed the reason for reopening the story of their affair that took place in 2004. This was done after David Beckham’s family released a documentary on Netflix which discussed the scandal.
In the documentary, David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham, touched on their household problems which were shaken by the affair. Victoria Beckham felt very hurt when she learned the news of her husband’s affair.

Rebecca Loos did not accept David Beckham and Victoria’s statement that seemed to blame her for the affair. He said David Beckham must also take responsibility for his actions.

“David Beckham needs to take responsibility. He can say what he wants, of course. And I understand he needs to maintain an image but he portrays himself as a victim and he makes me look like a liar, like I’m making up stories,” said Rebecca Loos.

Rebecca Loos said she had moved on from the past. However, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham’s conversation about her in the documentary made her hurt again.

“I don’t really want to talk about this anymore. I’ve gotten over it and moved on,” Rebecca Loos said.

“But when this documentary aired I tried so hard to let go and move on but the angle they used really bothered me and how David played the narrative, how it wasn’t true, and how it made me a bad person,” she added.

Rebecca Loos also said she received many nasty comments on her social media after the documentary aired. She feels guilty about the affair, but she shouldn’t be the only one attacked.

“It takes two to tango. I was never evasive. David said the accusations were funny. Funny but he never denied it,” said Rebecca Loos.
